Accountabilities:

The Enterprise IT Advisor role at Evinova is a unique opportunity to join a global team of skilled IT and Cybersecurity professionals utilizing leading technologies to advance our cloud-native Enterprise Technology services on a global scale. This role operates at the intersection of business enablement and technology delivery by ensuring that all our enterprise technologies exceed stakeholder expectations and are aligned with ITIL v4-based IT Service Management principles. In addition, this role will collaborate closely with cybersecurity peers to ensure all aspects of our enterprise computing environment are secure and configured in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. This role will have the opportunity to put their “fingerprints” on our enterprise cloud portfolio strategy and optimization initiatives.  

This is a “hands-on keyboard” position and requires the ability to deploy and maintain cloud-based services from leading providers such as Microsoft, Atlassian, and SalesForce – while also having the aptitude to quickly learn and administer niche SaaS solutions used by various functional teams across Evinova. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, well versed in mainstream cloud-based technologies and can proactively align technology solutions to business demands. 

Systems Administration:

  • Operates as the primary IT Systems Administrator for our portfolio of enterprise cloud applications and infrastructure – ensuring availability and usability of our enterprise computing portfolio 

  • Ensures that all company policies, standards, and cybersecurity requirements are consistently followed and updated as required 

  • Demonstrates expert level adherence to ITIL v4-based IT Service Management principles, ensuring that all IT operations processes are executed with high precision, accuracy, and are auditable 

  • Identifies and delivers on opportunities to implement process automation (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI, Jira Service Management) 

  • Identifies opportunities to optimize and further secure our enterprise computing environment by staying aware of vendor advancements, new solutions, and emerging trends in IT Operations and Systems Administration 

  • Collaborates with technology vendors for advanced troubleshooting, implementation, and other related tasks which require vendor interactions / dependencies 

  • Enables business resiliency by collaborating with cybersecurity peers and system owners to proactively address cybersecurity risks and other operational issues which may impact the confidentiality, integrity, and / or availability of our enterprise solutions 

  • Support the Director of Cybersecurity Operations for cybersecurity incident response and recovery activities – on an as needed basis and in accordance with our cybersecurity incident response plan 

Enterprise IT Services:

  • Collaborates with and provides reports to the Enterprise IT Services Lead and the Head of Cybersecurity to continuously improve our service catalogue – incorporating end user feedback, technology trends, and overall program maturity objectives 

  • Identify new technologies to proactively address business demands and emerging cyber threats 

  • Conducts periodic reviews of our Configuration Management Database to ensure adequate hygiene and identify any potential audit issues and / or operational disruptions (e.g., license management) 

  • Maintain accurate and auditable documentation of our cloud infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.  

  • Provide VIP End User Support to the Evinova Executive Team 

End User Support:

  • Provides exemplary and timely end user support as colleagues raise IT incidents / requests in our service request portal (“AskEvinova”).  

  • Assist in developing end user training materials to support the broad adoption and end user satisfaction of our enterprise IT services and enabling technologies 

  • Conducts pattern analysis to identify trends in end user support requests and applying corrective actions to minimize end user friction 

  • Provides user support relating to cybersecurity protection measures such as triaging potential phishing messages, maintaining email spam filters, and support with our data loss prevention tools (i.e., file labeling / protection measures) 

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administrator, or a related field 

  • 3+ years of experience operating in a regulated business and executing IT Service Management principles 

  • 3+ years of Cloud Services Administration, specifically utilizing Microsoft, Atlassian, and SalesForce-based platforms  

  • Highly motivated, self-starter, and willingness to grasp new concepts and business processes quickly. 

  • Proficiency in Azure services and tools, including Azure Portal, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), and Azure DevOps. 

  • Experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar tools. 

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a proven ability to manage competing priorities.  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, project management, process improvement, attention to detail, and strategic thinking skills are highly preferred.  

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

  • Continuous learning mindset and adaptability to new technologies 

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Prior role relevant experience at a SaaS solution provider / Healthtech business with a globally distributed employee base.  

  • Strong understanding of “cloud-native” architectures and operating models 

  • Understanding of automation use cases and their implementation. 

  • Strong “customer-oriented” and “solution-oriented” disposition. Prior experience as an IT operations consultant is a strong plus.  

  • Familiarity with deploying and maintaining cybersecurity tools / solutions (e.g., Mimecast, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender Suite.) 

  • Demonstrable experiences with assessing technology environments, conducting gap / feasibility assessments, and / or producing workflow process analysis documentation. 

  • Prior experience communicating with and developing solutions for diverse stakeholders. 

  • Prior experience supporting executives and senior stakeholders with IT requests and incidents 

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements around data security, privacy, and retention. 

  • A global perspective on privacy, security, and data protection issues and trends
